Tesla Model X: Handle - Exterior Release - Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

1. Remove the rear window motor/regulator assembly (refer to procedure).
2. Release the push clip that secures the door handle connector to the door.

    

3. Disconnect the door handle harness connector.

    

4. Release the edge clip that secures the door handle harness to the door.

   Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.

    

5. Remove the nuts (x3) that secure the door handle to the door (torque 9 Nm).

   Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.

    

6. Remove the door handle from the vehicle.

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
