Tesla Model X: Raise Vehicle - 4 Post Lift

Raise

1. Position the vehicle centrally between the lift posts.

Warning: To avoid personal injury, use appropriate equipment when performing this operation. Note: Vehicles with air suspension might need the suspension to be set to "High" or "Very High" to allow the vehicle to be positioned and supported correctly on a vehicle lift.

2. Carefully drive the vehicle onto the 4 post lift. Stop the vehicle when equidistant between front and rear of the lift. Tip: Have an assistant monitor the vehicle to ensure that the vehicle is centered on the 4 post lift.

 Warning: Do not work on an incorrectly supported vehicle.

3. Before raising the vehicle, ensure that no part of the vehicle is in danger of contacting the ceiling, tool boxes, or other items in the service area.

Caution: If the procedure requires the rear doors or liftgate to be open while the vehicle is raised, closely watch the position of the rear doors or liftgate as the vehicle is being raised to avoid contact with the lift mechanism, ceiling, or objects hanging from the ceiling.

1. Before lowering, ensure that no tools, equipment, or other items are under the vehicle.
2. Remove the vehicle from the 4 post lift.
