Tesla Model X: Subwoofer Assembly (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove the RH parcel shelf support (refer to procedure).
  2. Release the bolts (x2) that secure the rear HVAC duct bracket to the body (torque 9 Nm).

     Subwoofer Assembly (Remove and Replace)

  3. Remove the rear HVAC duct.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the subwoofer.
  5. Release the nut (x1) and bolts (x2) that secure the subwoofer (torque 5 Nm).

     Subwoofer Assembly (Remove and Replace)

  6. Remove the subwoofer from the vehicle.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
