Tesla Model X: Accelerator Assembly (Remove and Replace)

Tesla Model X 2015-2024 Service Manual / Electrical / Accelerator Assembly (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the driver's side footwell cover (refer to procedure).
  2. Disconnect the harness connector from the top of the accelerator pedal assembly.

     Accelerator Assembly (Remove and Replace)

  3. Remove the nuts (x2) that secure the accelerator pedal assembly to the mounting bracket (torque 8.5 Nm).

     Accelerator Assembly (Remove and Replace)

  4. Release the accelerator pedal assembly from the mounting bracket.
  5. Remove the accelerator pedal assembly from the vehicle.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
