Note: After
disconnecting 12V power, the rear doors and liftgate are
inoperable. Open any necessary closures before proceeding.
Turn off the climate control system.
Fully open the driver's window.
Remove the HEPA filter housing
(refer to procedure).
Warning: If the 12V
power supply is disconnected, do not attempt to open the front
doors with door glass in closed position. Failure to follow this
instruction could result in door glass shatter.
Note:Before
disconnecting the 12V power supply, ensure that the driver's
door window is fully open. Failure to follow this instruction
could result in vehicle lockout.
Disconnect the 12V battery ground connection
(torque 10 Nm).
Disconnect the first responder loop.
Caution: Do
not cut the first responder loop.
Wait at least 2 minutes for all electrical
circuits to fully discharge.
Warning:
Before working on any high voltage components,
perform the Vehicle Electrical Isolation Procedure
(refer to procedure).

Note:Connect is
reverse of disconnect, except for the following:
If a rear door was open while 12V was
disconnected, recalibrate the rear door:
Connect a laptop with Toolbox to
the vehicle.
