Tesla Model X: Grille - Front Lower (Remove and Replace)

Removal

1. Remove the front fascia assembly (refer to procedure).
2. On each side of the fascia, remove the fastener that secures the top of the grille to the fascia (torque 1 Nm).

   

3. On each side of the fascia, remove the fastener that secures the base of the grille to the fascia (torque 3 Nm).

   

4. Release the clips (x11) that secure the grille to the fasica.
5. Remove the front lower grille assembly from the fascia.
6. Remove the upper closing panel (refer to procedure).
7. Remove the lower closing panel (refer to procedure).

   

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Caution: Replace any broken clips.

Transfer the upper and lower closing panels to the new front lower grille.
