Removal
- Remove the mid aero shield (refer to procedure).
- Release the barrel clip that secures the coolant hose to the
stud on the body.
- Release the clip that secures the drain hose to the stud on the body.
- Remove the screw that secures the RH side of the rear fascia to
the vehicle (torque 4.5 Nm).
Note: This provides additional clearance when releasing the drain hose.
- Release the push clips (x2) that secure the RH side of the rear
fascia to the vehicle.
Note: This provides additional clearance when releasing the drain hose.
- Release the drain hose from the nipple on the bottom of the rear
HVAC assembly.
Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.
- Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:
Note: Clean the affected areas before installation.
Caution: Replace any broken clips.
- Install a new cable tie clip on the drain hose approximately 150
mm from the outlet. Remove any excess tie.
- Ensure that the drain hose is routed correctly:
- The drain hose is not twisted, pinched, or kinked.
- The drain hose is not routed through the rear aero shield trunk bracket.
