Removal

Remove the LH tail light assembly (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x3) that secure the charge port door to the tail light assembly. Note: The charge port door and motor are removed as an assembly.
Remove and retain the charge port door.

Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Secure the charge port door using the charge port door alignment special tool:

Make sure the screws are loose on charge port door.
Align the charge port door with the top angle of the special tool, and then tighten the screws (x3) on charge port door (torque 1.25 Nm).

Removal Remove the headliner (refer to procedure). Disconnect the harness from the TPMS module. Slide the TPMS module toward the front of the vehicle to release it from the spine closing plate. Remove the TPMS module from the vehicle.
