Tesla Model X: Window Motor/Regulator Assembly - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

1. Remove the rear window (refer to procedure).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor.

    

3. Remove the upper nuts (x2) that secure the regulator to the door (torque 10 Nm).

    

4. Remove the lower nuts (x2) that secure the regulator to the door (torque 10 Nm).

    

5. Push the regulator outboard so that the studs no longer protrude through the door shell.
6. Push the 2 beams of the regulator together and remove the window motor/regulator assembly from the door. Caution: Do not allow the washers to fall off the studs on the regulator.

    

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
