Tesla Model X: Pressure Transducer - Low Pressure (Remove and Replace)

Removal

1. Recover refrigerant from the vehicle (refer to procedure).
2. Remove the HEPA filter housing (refer to procedure).
3. Release the clip that secures the control fan module (CFM) harness to gain access to the pressure transducer.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure transducer.

   

5. Reach between the CFM and cross car beam with a 24 mm Crowfoot wrench to remove the pressure transducer from the A/C pipe (torque 8 Nm).

   Caution: Plug pipe connections to prevent ingress of moisture or dirt.

   

6. Remove the pressure transducer from the vehicle.

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following: Recharge the refrigerant.
