Remove

Open the front door.
Remove the countersunk screws (x2) that secure the striker plate to the B-pillar (torque 22 Nm).
Note: Note the installed position of the components before removal.
Remove the door striker from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Check and adjust the door to the body as required.

Remove Remove the LH and RH lower racetrack trims (refer to procedure). Cover the remainder of the racetrack trim with tape so that it it is not damaged during this procedure. Move the 2nd row seats to their forwardmost position. Remove the rear 2nd row floor panel.
