Tesla Model X: Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall (Remove and Replace)

Tesla Model X 2015-2024 Service Manual / Interior Trim / Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear trunk trim sill panel (refer to procedure).
  2. Release the 4 push clips that secure the rear wall trim panel.

     Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall (Remove and Replace)

  3. Pull the trim panel towards the front of the vehicle to release the trim clips.
  4. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Carpet - Underhood Storage (Remove and Install)

Removal
  1. Remove the LH and RH underhood storage lamps (refer to procedure).
  2. Release the carpet from underneath the seal.
  3. Remove the underhood storage carpet from the vehicle.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following: Ensure that the carpet is secured beneath the seal.
