Tesla Model X: Actuator and Cable - Cinching (Remove and Replace)
Removal
- Remove the liftgate latch (refer to procedure).
- Remove the bolts (x3) that secure the cinching actuator bracket
to the liftgate (torque 3 Nm).
- Disconnect the harness connector from the cinching actuator.
- Remove the cinching actuator and cable assembly from the
vehicle.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the
following:
Caution: Replace all Patchbolt(s).
