Tesla Model X: Armrest Pads - Center Console - 1st Row (Remove and Replace)

Removal

1. Remove the LH armrest pad from the vehicle:
   1. Slide the LH armrest pad so that it covers 1/2 of the cupholder.

      

   2. Pull up firmly on the front of the armrest pad to disengage the track.

      

2. Repeat the previous step on the RH armrest pad.
3. Place the armrest pads on a clean work surface.
4. Remove the screws that secure the tracks to the armrest pads. Retain the screws; they can be reused to secure the tracks to the new armrest pads.

1. Apply Loctite blue 242 threadlocker to the screws that secure the tracks to the armrest pads.
