Tesla Model X: Base - Armrest - Center Console (Remove and Install)

Removal

1. Remove the center console front trim panel (refer to procedure).
2. On each side of the center console, release the screws (torque 2.5 Nm).

   

3. Remove the rubber mat from the cup holder.
4. Release the 2 screws inside the cup holder (torque 2.5 Nm).

   

5. Remove the armrest base and set it on a padded surface.

   

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Base - Armrest - Center Console (Remove and Replace)

Remove the armrest trim (refer to procedure).

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following: Transfer the following components to the new center console:

• Armrest pads
• Armrest trim
• Cupholder
