Tesla Model X: Grille - Speaker - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Release the clips (x4) that secure the speaker grille to the
door trim panel.
Tip: Open the rear door to a comfortable
working height for better access.
Remove the speaker grille from the vehicle.
Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the
following:
Caution: Replace any broken clips.

Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x4) that secure the middle upper bracket
(torque 3 Nm).
Removal
Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x3) that secure the rear upper bracket
(torque 2.5 Nm).
Removal
Open the LH rear door.
Remove the LH rear door upper trim panel (refer to procedure).
Remove the screws (x3) that secure the front upper bracket
(torque 2.5 Nm).

Remove the driver's air bag
(refer to procedure).
Place the driver's air bag assembly on a soft
clean surface with the backside of the bezel facing up.
Unplug the harness connectors (x2) from the
back of 1 of the switches.
Remove
Position the vehicle on a lift, but do not raise the vehicle at
this time.
Use the Toolbox "Air Suspension Fill/Deflate" panel to
depressurize the system.
Loosen the lug nuts.
Remove the RH front wheel.
Remove the nut (torque 6 Nm) and clips (x7) that secure the
